PVAO LAUNCHES UNIFIED MULTI-PURPOSE ID (UMID) SYSTEM

For pensioners to easily obtain vital services, the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office recently launched the Unified Multi-purpose Identification System (UMID).

Magnetic color-coded Identification cards are now being distributed by the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office to all its pensioners -- FOR FREE!

Where to apply?
Pensioners are enjoined to visit the nearest PVAO office in their location and apply for the said ID.

What are the requirements?
For Personal Appearance at PVAO Camp Aguinaldo, QC

  1. Properly accomplished ID Form with signature & thumbmark
  2. Photocopy of any 2 government-issued Identification cards
  3. Photocopy of the ATM/Passbook for the pension account of the applicant.

The applicant's picture will be taken at the PVAO ID System Office (PISO), Kagitingan Hall, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

Releasing of the finished ID will be on the same day of application, the speed will depend on the volume of applicants in a given day.

For applicants in the field offices, 2x2 ID picture on a white background is required. The issuance of ID will depend on the arrival of finished IDs from the Central Office.

For Non-Appearance:

For Pensioners Residing Abroad:
  1. Properly accomplished ID Form with signature & thumbmark
  2. Certificate of Appearance from the RP Consul
  3. Photocopy of passport
  4. 2x2 ID picture on a white background
  5. Postcard-sized picture showing frontpage of a broadsheet
For Pensioners with Physical Disability:
  1. Properly accomplished ID Form with signature & thumbmark
  2. Special Power-of-attorney for the representative
  3. Any 2 government-issued IDs
  4. 2x2 ID picture on a white background
  5. Postcard-sized picture showing frontpage oa a broadsheet
  6. Medical Certification from attending physician
