Veterans’ access to PVAO improves
Veterans and pensioners’ claim applications and queries are welcomed more than ever as the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO) upgraded its frontline services upholding transparency and access to information.
The PVAO, as part of its continuing commitment to providing efficient and dedicated service to the veterans, improved its communication scheme through more organized systems and facilities. The agency has established the Veterans Service and Assistance Section to assist walk-in applicants and personally answer queries of veterans and their kin. Likewise, it has strengthened its call center (trunkline: (632) 995-0888 with more units and trained personnel to handle queries over the phone.
Furthermore, additional personnel were assigned to the Office for Public and Legislative Affairs ensuring that the public is informed about PVAO’s activities. Alongside is the improved and user-friendly PVAO website (www.pvao.mil.ph ) containing the latest developments particularly in the agency’s policies and services.
Veterans and pensioners are also being invited to send in their questions, complaints, or suggestions through the strengthened PVAO feedback mechanisms, that is, SMS Service “I-text Mo si Administrator” and suggestion boxes located strategically inside PVAO premises. One may send an SMS by typing PVAO (space) message and sending it to 2920.
Other pension payment-related queries may also be sent via e-mail (support@pvao.mil.ph) or snail mail (Veterans Compound, Camp Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, Murphy, Cubao, Quezon City 1110).
Veterans and pensioners may use any of the said facilities – whichever is most convenient to them. They may also communicate with PVAO Officials for some specific concerns. Below is the list of PVAO Division Chiefs and their contact details.
